S5 TestBench
The S5 TestBench is an inexpensive set of benchtop equipment that can get you started with a simple ATE setup. It is a useful tool for helping bring up new PCB designs and making simple automated tests for low-volume product testing.
Hardware The system hardware is of a set of inexpensive equipment that connects via USB: - DMM - MUX - Power Supply
Software
The software is LabVIEW program, complete with source code that connects to and controls the instruments. A provided Python library makes it easy to control the LabVIEW program if you prefer to write scripts in Python.
DMM
OWON XDM1041 Digital Multimeter with a USB interface. This is used to make measurements of voltage, resistance, or current. Other measurements are also possible.
MUX
SainSmart 16-channel USB Relay Module Front-end multiplexer for the DMM. This makes pairs of connections to the test device, allowing multiple measurements to be pre-connected for easy measurement of voltage, resistance, or current.
Power Supply
RD RK6006 60V Power Supply Benchtop power supply with USB control. This is a single-output power supply capable of CC and CV operation.
